I've been fortunate to be able to try out some pretty fun stuff the past month.
At Carsten's bachelors party we went go-karting - very cool going 50-60 km/h at floor level. To my surprise I actually did quite well almost matching Carsten's nephew, Casper.
This Friday the department at work took a time-out and took a boat-ride in a RIB - a power boat which is able to go upwards of 125 km/h on water. We only managed 105-110 :o). And after that, there was "water casting" - basically entering the water from a moving boat. I jumped in thrice at 25 km/h and 35 km/h respectively... looks sort of like the picture on the right, only the water was a mere 12°C - brr.

After the water stuff we went ashore next to the old B&W building on Refshaleøen, where we did some rapelling and climbing on walls. Great stuff. Don't know about the rapelling stuff - handy I guess - but climbing a wall using only what's available to you, eg. rafters, steel constructs and wires - was very challenging. I climbed 20 meters up in about 3 minutes. The picture on the left shows a guy doing the same rapelling down (about 35 meters). The white plate above his head shows about where we scaled the wall to.
Hehe, just wanted to make you guys jealous of my fantastic and thrilling life style :oP
