For the interested, the diagram on the left depicts the bones of the left hand. I expect the right hand to be somewhat similar - but mirrored of course. The mischieveous little bugger is no. 8 on the drawing. Given the size of it, I don't know why it should take 8 weeks for it to heal - oh.. and a possible additional 4 weeks if they're not satisfied with the X-rays after that.

And I'm told my hand/arm will shrink into vegetable state in those two months. Nice. So on top of everything I'll be disabled an additional month.

On the upside, maybe Kimie and I can use the money we save to go somewhere else, like London for instance. We've been talking about that for a while now.
