Happy holidays to all .. or - well a bit late but you know.

I spent Christmas in Portugal with Kimie's entire family and that's a lot of people and a lot of languages. Portuguese, Danish, English and German all mixed up. And to those of you who think that going to Portugal for Christmas must be better than staying in Denmark, you can think again! They don't use insulation in their houses down there so when the sun is gone for whatever reasons (we had three days of overcast ) it just gets cold - 5-10 centigrade and that's everywhere. Add in a lot of humidity and you got yourself a recipe for a nice pneumonia and/or cold. And somehow headcolds are all over me like ants on a picnic basket.

Friday we were back in good old .dk with insulated housing and central heating. Spent a day on the couch catching up with society and then New Years at a friend. Luckily it rained quite a bit, so people quickly abandoned their fireworks. Downside is, that we'll be hearing explosions through January, but hey.

Today it's back to work and 4½ more weeks of looking at my cast hand. Hope I don't have to wear that thing another 4 weeks - knock on wood.
